For the sixth day, people have been without electricity in Lovech and Gabrovo, reports bTV.
Yesterday, dissatisfied citizens blocked the Sofia - Varna road at the Ablanitsa road junction.
In addition to the dark and cold, people and businesses suffered financial losses - electrical appliances burned out, large amounts of food thrown away, hotel reservations canceled.
The cabinet allocated money to the affected households before the energy companies did.
In front of BNT, the mayor of the village of Voneshta Voda, Yanko Parvanov, stated that there has been an improvement in the power supply and that only a few settlements remain without electricity.
He explains the reason for the lack of electricity with the uncleaned clearings, as well as the reduced staff teams and the lack of communication between them. According to him, it is a good idea for mayors to be able to monitor the work of the EDPs on cleaning them.
"Perhaps the easement zone should be expanded and the state should make these legislative changes for this easement zone", noted Parvanov.
BNR reports that today, from 8:00 to 16:30, Energo pro - Sever subscribers can call an additional mobile phone line to report secondary problems with the power supply.
The company's teams are additionally inspecting the routes of overhead power lines, around which icing and overhanging tall trees threaten the security of the power supply, and measures are being taken to prevent future emergencies, according to the company's website.
