The changes range from a 19 percent increase in price in Sliven to a 15 percent decrease in price in Dobrich, BNT summarized.
As of today, water is the most expensive in Razgrad and Silistra - over 6 leva per cubic meter. The price of water supply services is close to that in Shumen. In the majority of the country, a cubic meter of water already costs about 5 leva.
However, the highest percentage increase in prices is in Sliven, where the jump is 19 percent - to 4.70 leva. Despite the fact that only 3 months ago there was a 20 percent increase in water in Sofia, now there is a new 4 percent increase. The price is being raised by the same percentages in Plovdiv and Burgas.
Water supply services are getting cheaper in Dobrich. The reduction is 15 percent, and the price becomes 3.70 leva per cubic meter.
The cheapest water is in Pazardzhik, where the cubic meter costs 3 leva. The prices are final and will be valid for the entire next year.
The price that ViK-Sliven subscribers will have to pay is 4.65 leva per cubic meter. The increase is shocking and, according to many, is not realistic, because the water is supplied by gravity and does not pass through a treatment plant. In early December, there was even a protest in front of the company's building, but this did not dissuade KEVR, BNT recalls.
