Ognyan Minchev: Cabinet negotiations are going well, but even the smallest pebble can turn things around - 1

Even before the holidays, there were indirect signals that the cabinet negotiations were going in a good direction, political scientist Assoc. Prof. Ognyan Minchev said in the morning block of bTV.

Yesterday this was confirmed, but let's not forget that even the smallest pebble can turn things around.

We remind you that on the first working day of the year, the parties discussing joint governance gathered for a meeting in parliament. The negotiating teams of GERB, “Democratic Bulgaria“, BSP and “There is such a people“ sat at one table (ITN).

Looking at how things are developing, the main lines have been agreed upon, Assoc. Prof. Minchev said.

Regarding whether Boyko Borisov will take over the prime minister's post, he commented that this may not happen.

"In politics, "never" is not a concept that should be used," said the political scientist in connection with the fact that a left-wing formation will never unite with the right.

When asked what horizon a regular government would have, Assoc. Prof. Ognyan Mincheva said that it is easiest to say that it would be fragile, but reminded that even such a regular government would be good for Bulgaria.
