Today's negotiations between the unions and the management of the Sofia Autotransportation to negotiate the new Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) failed, BNR reported.
The meeting with the management of the autotransportation and representatives of three unions - the Federation of Transport Unions at the Confederation of Bulgarian Trade Unions, the Union of Transport Unions in Bulgaria and the Federation of Transport Workers at the Podkrepa Confederation of Trade Unions - lasted over three hours.
"No new meeting has been scheduled", said Ivan Kirilov, Chairman of the Federation of Transport Workers at the Podkrepa Confederation of Trade Unions
"In practice, there were no negotiations, no texts were read, and no follow-up meeting was even scheduled. "The colleagues from the CITUB announced that they will almost certainly take action under the Law on the Settlement of Collective Labor Disputes and it will almost certainly lead to an effective strike," the unionist also said.
