The state is facing a dilemma - either we make structural changes, a budget with a 3% deficit, or we continue in this way and next year we will have sanctions from the EC, increase interest rates on contracts, etc. This was commented on bTV by the deputy chairman of the DPS Valentin Tonchev.
According to him, the budget of the official authorities was not sufficiently independently prepared by Lyudmila Petkova.
Tonchev said that he would not mind the police officers taking both 10 and 15,000 leva salaries:
„But where was the Ministry of Interior when votes were being bought en masse and all citizens witnessed the election violations. Should SANS be managed by a Peevski person?“, he added.
Regarding Budget 2025, he said that they had not discussed Borisov's proposals for the return of 9% VAT for restaurateurs in the Joint Management Council.
