A young family fails to use the services of the capital's public transport after being hindered by it. It comes to a fatal situation in which the driver, in addition to not helping to get a stroller into the vehicle, squeezes one of the parents twice, closing the doors of the bus.
In front of BNT, the victim Daniela Marinova told that on March 19, she and her partner tried to get on bus 280 with their child's stroller. However, when boarding, the driver closed the doors and the father was trapped.
After a reaction from the other passengers, the doors were opened again, the man tried to board with the stroller again, but was again trapped by the doors, this time the stroller overturned and the child fell onto the street.
"We are two adults with a stroller and a child - it's strange to me how this is not seen. Rather, it's not about the specific driver, but about the system - that this happens often. I have seen other people trapped by the door".
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority announced in a statement to public television that they have begun an investigation into the case.
