A car crashed into a house in the village of Madrets, but the driver was missing, the Regional Directorate of the Interior and Local Government of Stara Zagora reported.
On March 19 at 11:04 p.m., the Galabovo Regional Police Department received a message from a 26-year-old man that a car had crashed into the fence of his house in the village of Madrets, but there was no one in the car.
The owner of the vehicle - a 71-year-old man and the user - a 22-year-old woman - have been identified.
She explained to the police that she parked the car on March 19 at around 2:00 p.m. in the town of Galabovo with the ignition key on the dashboard.
Police officers conducted operational and search operations. They established that the car had been taken by another person - an 18-year-old man. He was detained for up to 24 hours.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated for unlawful seizure of a car.
