The MECH group in parliament must be restored and such things should not be done in Bulgarian politics. The topic of a vote of no confidence has not been discussed. Until a decision is made to enter the eurozone, it is not good to have destabilization.
This was said in the program "Sunday 150" on the Bulgarian National Radio by Martin Dimitrov from "Continuing the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (PP-DB).
According to him, the Speaker of the Parliament Natalia Kiselova must give an explanation on these issues. There was no need for this to happen in the National Assembly, he also said. Although we have ideological differences with Radostin Vassilev, what happened with MECH is unacceptable, Dimitrov pointed out.
He also commented on the budget issue. Expenditures are increasing by over 18 billion leva, which is a record. To these, if we add 7 billion below the line, the total increase is 25.5 billion. This is three times more than last year, said Dimitrov. None of the reforms that would have led to less spending were adopted. Instead, it was voted to have state shops throughout the country. This will lead to huge spending, and perhaps the goal is to break up and sell off post offices, commented Martin Dimitrov.
According to him, nowhere in the European Union has there been a reduction in prices through state shops. The parliament's decision is anti-reform, said Dimitrov. Thousands of people in small businesses and self-employed people will be hit with the change in the threshold for VAT registration, he also said.
