"The construction of the 7th and 8th units of the Kozloduy NPP is strategically important for Bulgaria. I expect the project to be implemented within the deadlines set by the National Assembly and within the budget". This was stated by GERB leader Boyko Borisov at a meeting with the executive director of "Hyundai" Hanlo Lee.
"Before the "Hyundai" delegation, together with colleagues from GERB Delyan Dobrev - Chairman of the Budget Committee and the Minister of Energy Zhecho Stankov, we explained that Bulgaria is one of the few countries where nuclear energy has over 50 years of history and well-trained personnel, which is an invaluable asset. "Statistics show that over 70% of Bulgarians support the development of nuclear energy in our country, which, for comparison, is more than even a country like France, where this sector has long-standing traditions," Borisov wrote on Facebook.
