PP-DB MP Yavor Bozhankov published an angry comment against President Rumen Radev on his Facebook profile. His reaction is on the occasion of today's statement by the former pilot.
We offer you Bozhankov's text without editorial intervention:
“My eyes were filled with tears” when I read their messages.
Today is a great Christian holiday. And a holiday of the Bulgarian army.
And yet another occasion used by them for cheap propaganda.
According to the “president” in history “there are brilliant victories, tragic defeats and never cowardly capitulations“. Along the way, Radev also remembers the defeat of Hitler fascism. And that “the horror of what was experienced in World War II did not prevent new bloodshed – and in the heart of Europe“. He points out that we must invest in our own defense capabilities.
I have never seen a more impudent person. Not a politician. A person.
Not a word about where this bloodshed in the “heart of Europe“ comes from today. Who is shedding blood in Europe today, Mr. “President”?
While he was governing with his official offices, I do not remember him investing in defense, which he is concerned about today. He signed the most unprofitable contract with “Botas“ for billions. Nothing for our army.
He admires heroic resistance and self-sacrifice in the name of freedom. He again calls on another Orthodox people not to resist, but to capitulate to tyranny. Because tyranny is Russian. And he - also Russian.
Today, the Bulgarian army, after decades of humiliation, is finally receiving deserved, fair and respectful treatment. The most modern fighters. Armored vehicles. The largest arms contracts since 1990 are already being implemented. Bulgaria received nearly 400 million leva from its allies for military assistance in just one year. We have set an absolute historical record in the production of military production and export of defense-related products. We are replacing 35-year-old shells with new ones. Soviet tin cans are being replaced with proven technologies, such as Javelin. And while some used their power to cheat with gas through the Russian pipeline, others made sure that our army received modern equipment.
We did something else too. We did not accept a “cowardly capitulation“ to the new fascist regime in the Kremlin. And we put Bulgaria side by side with the other European nations.
Three years of Rumen Radevites and every penny convince us that:
• Any modern, Western weaponry is expensive, we wait for it for a long time and in the end it turns out to be defective. The planes were blueprints. We did not need the Javelin missiles. There was nothing better than the Soviet one.
• Without Russian gas, we are left in the cold.
• Without Russian nuclear fuel – energy crisis.
• Without Russian oil – gasoline will be 4.50 leva/liter.
Today, their lies are not worth five kopecks. We currently produce 60% of the current consumption from the FEZ. Gasoline is 2.35 leva. The army is receiving the most modern technologies, and Bulgaria is slowly regaining its independence from decades of tyranny.
