As a result of intense hail and the accompanying strong winds, signals of fallen trees and material damage were reported in various settlements in Haskovo region, the regional administration reported.
The same are on the territory of the city of Haskovo, the city of Dimitrovgrad and the municipality of Harmanli – in the sections between the villages of Rogozinovo and Dositievo, as well as between Smirnentsi and Varbovo, including in the central part of the town of Harmanli.
As a preventive measure, the electricity supply in the villages of Mladinovo and Pastrogor, Svilengrad municipality, has been temporarily interrupted by the electricity distribution company.
The Fire Safety and Population Protection teams promptly removed the fallen trees, and the streets in the affected settlements have been drained.
