"Mayor Terziev does not have a majority in the Sofia Municipal Council - the majority includes GERB, BSP, ITN and breakaway parties from "Vazrazhdane" - it was they who elected without competitions the heads of the municipal companies and the transport, which currently do not exist, the mayor took the entire initiative". This was commented on "The Day Begins with Georgi Lyubenov" Antoaneta Tsoneva from "Yes, Bulgaria".
According to her, an illegal blockade of the ground public transport in Sofia is currently taking place.
"Trade unionists associated with the economic majority - from the BSP Ivan Kirilov, from the EGRB - Ekaterina Yordanova - are at the forefront of the strike itself, which is not even a strike in its own sense, because people who do not go to work receive wages. This is a kind of illegal blockade of the depots, so that it is not possible to go out, including where there is a private transport operator".
GERB did nothing during these years, and now Borisov comes out and waves phrases that we should all feel punished for the fact that the mayor is not from GERB, she commented. According to Antoaneta Tsoneva, Mayor Vasil Terziev will not leave his post, as negotiations must be conducted according to the rules.
Tsoneva described the president's proposal as a game with the "nuclear buttons of democracy".
"What he did last Friday, hardly anyone expected. The president aims to increase tension, inject uncertainty, create a feeling in our partners that there is no political will and agreement in Bulgaria to join the euro".
In her words, this causes additional "mobilizations of anti-European forces".
