Toma Bikov: Even if Radev steps down and governs, he will have to be with someone, and he has offended everyone - 1

I regret that we did not hold a referendum on Bulgaria's entry into the EU, because the eurozone is an integral part of it. I would like to hear what President Radev's position is on the euro. This was stated by Toma Bikov from GERB on BNT, quoted by novini.bg.
We have an opposition that is very fragmented. A complex opposition and a complex coalition, and we hope that they will balance out, he also said.

Entering the eurozone is not a single convergence report, but a large-scale process. On the one hand, there is the volume of money, and on the other hand, there is the control of speculation, Toma Bikov stated and added that the government will serve a full term.
"The opposition should be a little more cautious about its words, because we don't know what awaits us", he explained and added that even if Radev steps down and governs, he will have to be with someone, and he has offended everyone.

When asked if they are comfortable with DPS-New Beginning, he said that being in government is never comfortable and there is constant tension, because it is a complex government in a complex situation. "Trust has eroded a lot and new elections would not have brought us anything good if we had not formed this majority", emphasized the GERB-SDF MP.

Asked if they had failed in sabotaging Terziev, he said: If we had wanted to remove Vasil Terziev as mayor, he would no longer be at the head of Sofia. These 15 million leva will come with a decision of the Council of Ministers. We do not know what kind of mayor he will be if there is no support in the Municipal Council. If our municipal councilors had not supported the Sofia budget, it would not have passed, Bikov is categorical.

The Sofia transport crisis threatened to become a problem for 2,000,000 people. Our task is to stabilize public finances. Of course, healthcare must be prioritized and nurses' salaries must be increased. Updating the budget is not currently being considered. If there is an over-fulfillment of revenues - then there are reserves. Money for salaries is another type of expense, they multiply in the coming years, explained Toma Bikov.
