We are talking about an information war. In the first hours, things developed as fake news coming from an official source – the party’s press center. This is how journalist Petko Georgiev commented to Nova TV on the so-called “unification” of Dzhevdet Chakarov with Delyan Peevski and the subsequent reaction from Ahmed Dogan’s faction.
„The bigger thing attracts the smaller. It increasingly seems that there is one MRF and this is the “New Beginning”. It seems like an irreversible process of erosion. They touched each other without falling into a passionate handshake. Chakarov does not seem to be a hostage”, believes social anthropologist Haralan Alexandrov.
In his words, when a politician's son has 40 companies, this is a disturbing, but not unusual fact.
“The Prosecutor's Office and the Committee for the Prevention of Corruption and Corruption of the Bulgarian People's Republic of Bulgaria are as clean as a lily's tears, and the abuse of power is something that the MRF has never heard of, of course. The use of political presence, of the encapsulated Turkish electorate for personal and business purposes has been the definition of the MRF since its inception. There are no good ones here”, said Georgiev.
When asked what Peevski is strong at, Alexandrov replied: “If you ask him, he will say that he is close to the people. In a political sense, however, he is much better at “to deliver” – delivers what a group of people who are highly marginalized and in need of a strong leader need.”
“The transformation from entrepreneur, publisher, oligarch to politician is very interesting. It is not atypical, there are such processes in the USA – there the entire oligarchy lined up behind Trump. This is proof of strength in the eyes of his electorate. There are many arguments why Peevski is “the man” – a leader, active, powerful. Information warfare is important here – there is not a day when he does not speak out on important topics”, he added.
