Any attempts to corrupt public relations through speculation, such as we have been observing in the last few days by market players, whom I would define as elementary robbers, will be nipped in the bud by the regulatory and control bodies. This was stated by Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov.
The Prime Minister appealed to retail chains that offer goods and services at retail: "Do not allow yourself to become part of the spread of speculation, which has no connection and no economic logic to happen. Do not allow such goods in your stores, in your stands, that are test projects for instilling distrust. Let this internal self-regulation be stable and strong enough so that the state does not have to intervene in the market in a disproportionate manner,“ he said, quoted by "Focus".
Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov pointed out that the active information campaign about the euro will reach every Bulgarian citizen.
"The goal is to calm people's fears and for the public to receive comprehensive information about the introduction of the single European currency from reliable sources. The introduction of the euro is a success for the Bulgarian people, for many governments that have always made this topic part of their political priority," Zhelyazkov noted.
In his words, our membership in the eurozone will guarantee the sustainability of Bulgarian finances and the Bulgarian economy.
