In the afternoon hours, cumulus and cumulus-rainy clouds will develop mainly over the southwestern part of the country and short-term rain with thunderstorms will fall in places. A weak to moderate northeasterly wind will blow. Daytime temperatures will drop and maximums will be between 23° and 28°, for Sofia - around 24°.
Above the mountains before noon there will be more significant increases in cloudiness in the Rhodopes, Strandzha and Sakar. Around and after noon, cumulus and cumulus-rainy clouds will develop, and in places, mainly in the Rila-Rhodope region and Sredna Gora, there will be showers and thunder. A moderate wind will blow from the northeast, along the ridges from the northwest. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be about 17°C, at 2000 meters - about 9°C.
