The Chairman of the PG of "Democracy, Rights and Freedoms - DPS" Khayri Sadakov read a declaration opposing the change adopted on June 19 in the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly.
It requires the groups to register with the name of the formation with which they appeared in the last parliamentary elections and not to repeat the name of another parliamentary group.
The DPS-DPS had three days to implement the decision, but by that time they had not done so. In such a case, the Chairman of the National Assembly has the right to make the change administratively.
"Do not allow impure political ambitions to tarnish your name and authority and use you as a rubber stamp. "Nothing, except the frantic desire to sanction a politician under "Magnitsky" for grand corruption, to clean up and eliminate competing political entities from the political terrain, requires a change in the name of the parliamentary group," Sadakov addressed the Speaker of the National Assembly Natalia Kiselova.
