Does it strike you that the more control bodies get involved in the fight against speculation, the more it grows. The more they flex their muscles and make threats, the more prices jump.
Last week, the head of the National Revenue Agency announced a price increase of up to 40%. Yesterday, the CPC and the CPC reported up to 83% for some goods. The state is on its knees before traders and swindlers. The rulers are increasingly pathetic with their daily oaths that they will not allow speculation to come. But it is here, don't you understand?
This was published on her Facebook page by the leader of "Unruly Bulgaria" Kornelia Ninova. Here is more from her comment:
The prepared law on price increases is stillborn. It will not reduce prices, but it will further kill the Bulgarian farmer, further destroy small and medium-sized businesses and increase bureaucratic corruption. I have the feeling that they are doing it on purpose and will only facilitate imported fruits and vegetables, at the expense of domestic production. And it is so simple to put things in order: draconian control of the border, where imported goods enter at reduced prices so that they do not pay the necessary VAT, stopping the practice of presenting foreign goods as Bulgarian, removing the countless resellers from the supply chain and several more specific measures that will give real results.
