The big black cat that is being sought near Shumen cannot be domesticated, it remains a wild animal. This was stated by zoologist Assoc. Prof. Stoyan Lazarov to NOVA. He added that for this reason this type of animal should not be bred.
The associate professor revealed that he is reserved that the animal is already in the reserve. According to him, this animal will strive to go where there is food.
The zoologist wondered how it could not be proven for so long whether this animal exists and where it is. For him, therefore, very good specialists should be used.
He said that it is unlikely that the cat will go to Romania, since this type of cat does not like water. According to him, this animal is not as dangerous as it is made out to be.
For him, it is good that this animal is captured, not shot. Assoc. Prof. Lazarov said that there are certainly places where this type of animal is bred.
