A 41-year-old truck driver was caught with over 2 per mille of alcohol in Lom, the police announced.
The man was checked on the evening of June 28. He is an employee of the “District Fire Safety and Population Protection Service“ at the “Metropolitan Directorate of Fire Safety and Population Protection“.
His test showed 2.22 per mille. A medical examination ticket was issued, and the driver accepted the readings of the technical device and refused to give a blood sample for medical examination.
An investigation has been opened into the case and he has been detained.
