A family with five children was injured in a serious accident in Yambol on Sunday evening after their car went off the road.
The father who was behind the wheel, a 10-month-old baby and a 10-year-old boy are in danger of life.
39-year-old Georgi Todorov and his wife Slavka live in the Yambol village of Krumovo. Yesterday, one of their five children had a fever and they went to get medicine.
On the way back, just before the village, the car went off the road and turned around. The baby, who was riding on the mother's lap, was the most seriously injured. He was taken to the University Hospital of Stara Zagora.
The eldest child - a 10-year-old boy - has a head injury and is being treated at the Sliven hospital.
The father's life is being fought for in the intensive care unit of the Yambol Hospital. The other three children have also been admitted there, reports BTV.
The mother was the least injured - she was released for home treatment.
The investigation will show when and why the father lost control of the car. The tests for alcohol and drugs were negative, and according to relatives, the man had no traffic violations.
The section on which the serious accident occurred is part of the third-class Yambol road - Topolovgrad.
The last repair of the road was made 10 years ago according to a project that did not provide for guardrails in the fatal section.
