Today, July 5, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the organization of traffic between km 0 and 3 on the Hemus Motorway in the direction of Sofia is temporarily changing to remove roadside vegetation on the shoulders, the Road Infrastructure Agency (API) announced, quoted by dariknews.bg.
Equipment will be gradually deployed in the emergency lane and drivers are required to drive with increased caution and appropriate speed. Traffic will be carried out in the active and overtaking lanes, the Agency indicated.
Lawn mowing will continue next week. From July 7 to 10, between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., roadside vegetation will be removed in the section from 48th to 55th km of the highway, in the lane to Varna. Motor vehicle traffic will pass along the active lane of the highway, and passage in the overtaking and emergency lanes will be gradually limited.
API appeals to drivers to drive carefully, to observe traffic rules and speed limits, and not to undertake risky overtaking that endangers the safety of all other travelers.

At the beginning of the week, the organization of traffic in the direction of Varna was temporarily changed between the 15th and 32nd km of Motorway (AM) “Hemus“ for removal of roadside vegetation.
