During most of the day and over most regions it will be mostly sunny, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology announced, BTA reported.
In the afternoon hours cumulus clouds will develop and in some places, mainly in the mountainous regions of Western and Central Bulgaria and the northern central parts of the country, there will be short-term rain with thunderstorms. There will be a weak wind, and in Eastern Bulgaria a moderate wind from the south-southeast. It will be hot with maximum temperatures between 36° and 41°, for Sofia – around 37°.
At night it will be clear and almost quiet. The atmospheric pressure is slightly lower than the average for the month. It will continue to decrease during the day.
On the Black Sea coast it will be sunny, around and after noon and hot. A light to moderate wind will blow from the southeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 28° and 31°. The temperature of the sea water is 24°-26°. The sea waves will be about 2 points.
In the mountains it will be sunny before noon. Cumulus and cumulus-rainy clouds will develop in the afternoon and in some places in the massifs of Western and Central Bulgaria there will be showers and thunder. A moderate wind will blow from the south-southwest. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be about 31°, at 2000 meters - about 23°.
