Natalia Kiselova: I expect the vote of no confidence to fail - 1

My expectations are that the majority of the deputies will reject the motion for a vote of no confidence. This was told to journalists by the Speaker of the Parliament Natalia Kiselova, who commented on the upcoming vote of the fourth vote of no confidence against the cabinet related to environmental policy tomorrow.

„In yesterday's discussions, we witnessed several situations that show that the votes are self-serving. Of course, the government must be criticized. There are probably issues that it can handle better. When criticism is made, it should not be on issues that have accumulated for years as problems, and the government is trying to solve them, as is the case with illegal landfills. We need to see what we, as the National Assembly, can help the government with. It is ours, the state's and all citizens', not just some of them', Kiselova pointed out.

Yesterday, the deputies discussed the fourth vote of no confidence in the "Zhelyazkov" cabinet for failure in the environmental and water sectors. The vote was submitted by the "Velichy" parliamentary group with the signatures of the deputies from "Vazrazhdane" and MECH, or a total of 48 members of parliament. The discussions lasted nearly four hours, and according to the parliamentary rules, the vote is no earlier than 24 hours after the end of the discussions. The item with the vote on the draft resolution for the vote of no confidence is fixed as the first on the agenda for Friday.

The Speaker of the Parliament Natalia Kiselova commented on the topic after her participation in a forum of "PanEurope Bulgaria" at the Central Military Club in the capital together with the Speaker of the Albanian Parliament Elisa Spiropali, who is on a two-day visit to Bulgaria, BTA reported.
