The National Assembly rejected the vote of no confidence in the Council of Ministers with Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov for "failure in the environment and water sector" with 83 votes "for" and 131"against".
The vote of no confidence was submitted by the parliamentary group of "Majesty" with the support of deputies from the groups of "Moral, Unity, Honor" and "Vazrazhdane" - a total of 48 MPs, BTA recalled.
The debates on the vote were held on Wednesday and lasted nearly four hours.
This is the fourth vote of no confidence in the “Zhelyazkov“ cabinet, after the previous three were unsuccessful. The first vote was for “failure in the “Foreign Policy” sector, the second – for – failure in the fight against corruption&rdash; and the third – for – failure in the sphere of fiscal policy&rdash;.
