The State Electricity System Operator (ESO) notified ERM West that on July 14, 2025, it will perform maintenance on its facility. The maintenance requires a change in the power supply scheme for electricity consumers in the city of Sofia.
This may lead to power outages on July 14 in the following areas: central city part of the municipalities of Serdika, Oborishte, Vazrazhdane, Triaditsa and Sredets, Banishora residential area, Zona B-17 residential area, Zona B-18 residential area, Zona B-5 residential area, Orlandovtsi residential area, Hadzhi Dimitar, Lozenets residential area, Hladilnika residential area, Ivan Vazov residential area, Dianabad residential area, Musagenitsa residential area, Studentski Grad residential area, Simeonovo residential area, Dragalevtsi residential area, Kinocentar residential area, Krastova Vada residential area, Boyana residential area, Bistritsa residential area, Zheleznitsa residential area, Plana residential area, Simeonovo-Dragalevtsi residential area, Malinova Dolina residential area and Yarema residential area.
ERM Zapad, as the operator of the electricity distribution network, has an obligation to ensure safe conditions for operation on the network. Changing the power supply scheme cannot be carried out without operational switching, which leads to short power supply interruptions.
ERM Zapad takes all measures to minimize inconvenience to consumers. The company is constantly ready to respond in case of need.
