According to the approved admission plan, the ranking was supposed to be announced in the early hours of Monday, July 14. Thousands of nervous parents of seventh-graders were trying to find out whether their children had been accepted into the desired schools. Instead, they were lined up in virtual queues with a wait of up to half an hour.
The phones of the Ministry of Education were turned off.
