Bulgargaz proposes a reduction in the price of natural gas by about 2% in September. This is clear from the application submitted by the company, which must be approved by the energy regulator (KEVR), reports the Bulgarian National Radio. If this happens, next month the blue fuel will be sold for nearly 61 leva without taxes and levies.
The price mix includes supplies under the contract with Azerbaijan and liquefied natural gas imported through Turkey. In September, fuel can also be imported under the contract with the Turkish company "Botaş", but the application does not specify in what quantities and at what price.
There will be no deliveries through the liquefied natural gas terminal in Alexandroupolis. No quantities from the gas storage facility in Chiren will be used, but gas is to be injected there, and this process will also be included in the price for next month.
Before the final decision of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, the prices are to be publicly discussed.
