A Turkish citizen, the driver of a car, has died in an accident this morning that occurred on the international road E79 in the section before the entrance to Vratsa, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said, BTA reported.
Initial data is that the passenger car crashed into a truck, and the cause is still being clarified.
Two people have been admitted to the "Hristo Botev" Multi-profile Hospital for Active Treatment in Vratsa with serious injuries, the police added. The teams are working at the scene of the accident.
Traffic has been temporarily restricted in both directions on the road I-1 Vidin – Vratsa in the Vratsa region, the Road Infrastructure Agency announced.
Traffic is being redirected via a detour route via Krapchene – Stubel – Lipen – Krivodol – Lilyache – Vratsa. Traffic is being regulated by Traffic Police teams.
