The Sofia company “Resource Fund” Ltd. won the biggest auction organized for more than a decade in Plovdiv. It was for the unfinished residential complex next to Kolodrum, and the starting price was BGN 33 million, Trafficnews specifies. The mega-auction was through the Agency for Public Enterprises and Control, and the seller was the Bulgarian Development Bank. The company, whose manager is Petar Georgiev and is owned by three legal entities, was the only section in the procedure. They won it with the mandatory condition of having at least one bidding step, which is 660,000 thousand.
The unfinished complex, which is akin to the buildings of “Gerbera” on “Asenovgradsko shose” Blvd., has over 200 apartments, 170 parking spaces and 35 shops. It extends over 7 decares, and the built-up area is over 30,000 sq.m.
The residential complex has six sections, which are locked between the boulevards "Mendeleev" and "Naicho Tsanov", whose construction began more than 10 years ago. Investors were the already defunct company “BTM Estates” EOOD, who then sold the project to "Global Leasing Consult and Practice is” Ltd. The latter also failed to complete the project, and in the end it was purchased by BBR. Although the sale of the apartments was launched, the complex was never completed. According to the announcement, the complex has been completed in “rough construction”. The construction was commissioned to "Syenite Holding".
The highest section has 16 floors, and it has apartments, offices and shops. Some of them have even been sold.
The manager of “Resource Fund” Ltd. Petar Gospodinov is connected with another 18 companies with different fields of activity – from solar installations through consulting services and winemaking. The largest share in the company is held by “Adiora Trade” with 73.4%, and with 26.4% are “Central Capital Development” . In the latter firm are two of the most popular investment lawyers - Kiro Kirov and Galya Bratulieva. With less than 0.2% shares are the manager Petar Gospodinov and the company “Sportland” Inc.
