The share of purchased apartments in new buildings in Moscow and the Moscow region with an area of up to 40 square meters reported a growth of the period January-July 2024. It is within 2-3 percentage points on an annual basis. The number of transactions with apartments with an area of more than 50 square meters began to gradually decrease, reports the press service of the primary market analysis platform bnMAP.pro.

Deals with homes with an area of 30 to 40 square meters for the first 7 months of the current year are 23.1%. The number of transactions with properties, the area of which is between 50 and 60 square meters, respectively two- and small-sized three-room apartments, is starting to decrease in all Moscow districts. In the seven months of 2024, in Old Moscow, the number of transactions with such properties fell by 1.3 percentage points, in New Moscow - by 0. percentage points, in the Moscow Region - by 1.9 percentage points, the press service reports .

Mostly one-room apartments with an area between 30 and 40 sq.m. were bought. “In Moscow, the focus on small homes is less pronounced. At the moment, the demand is distributed fairly evenly among the different areas of the apartments in the new buildings. Unlike St. Petersburg, where apartments ranging from 40 to 80 square meters represent only 28% of the demand, in Moscow there are more than 47% of these transactions, noted the owner of the investment and real estate agency "Best-novostroitelstvo". and the analytical platform of the primary market bnMAP.pro Irina Dobrohotova.

The largest share of buyers can set aside between 10 and 15 million rubles for the purchase of a home. In this price range, 9,300 transactions were concluded, which is about 25% of the total number of transactions concluded in the capital for the first seven months of the current year.
