After some of the investors recently left the Thrace Economic Zone (TIZ), today it became clear that there will be new investment in the amount of BGN 60 million. It is by the Japanese company “Three-Wall Bulgaria”. In September, the company bought a plot of land with an area of 56 acres on the territory of the zone. A production base for paper and cardboard packaging will be built on it.
The investment is currently at the design stage, and production is scheduled to begin by the 2026 meeting.
During the visit of the Minister of Innovation and Growth, Assoc. Dr. Rosen Karadimov to the TIZ, the larger projects implemented on the territory of the zone to date were also presented. This is the Schneider Electric plant worth EUR 15 million, and in the next 5 years the company has the ambition to increase its investments to EUR 70 million.
Representatives of the Chinese company "Zies Europe" were also present at the meeting with the minister. EOOD and the Bulgarian "Smart Power Grid" Ltd. They are building a high-tech plant for aluminum parts with wide application in the automotive and automotive industry.
In February, the Bulgarian company "Smart Power Grid" Ltd. The investment is worth nearly BGN 25 million, with the expansion of the plant also planned after some time. It will manufacture substations, electrical panels, complete switchgear for medium and low voltage.
