The status of a property in the city of Varna is changing, from private state to public state property. The property, with an area of 5313 sq. m, is located in the Primorsky Park district, "Gorchivata Cheshma" locality and has been granted management rights to the Technical University - Varna. Given the provision of Art. 89, para. 2 of the Higher Education Act, that real estate provided by the state to higher education institutions is public state property, actions have been taken to change the status of the property, in accordance with the law.
In its capacity as a concessionaire under a contract for coal mining from the "Iztok Maritsa Coal Basin" deposit, "Mini Maritsa Iztok" EAD will receive one property - public state property as an affiliation to the concession site. This was decided by the Council of Ministers at its meeting today. The property falls within the concession area and is located in the land of the village of Obruchishte, Galabovo Municipality, Stara Zagora District. Its provision is necessary to ensure the unhindered implementation of the activities under the concession agreement, related to the expansion of coal mining in the deposit. With its request, the company has justified the need to include the property for the normal development of production activities. This decision provides the opportunity and legal basis for the concessionaire “Mini Maritsa Iztok“ EAD, to carry out activities related to the concession within the scope of the provided property.
