A wave of tension swept the capital district after an armed robbery occurred at a commercial establishment in the heart of Sofia.
Just a day after the incident, law enforcement from the Sofia Directorate of Internal Affairs (SDVR) announced that three suspects had been detained in connection with the crime, BTA revealed.
According to official information, the incident took place at around 7:30 p.m. yesterday, when a masked man, armed and determined, broke into the store.
He threatened the employee behind the counter and managed to get hold of an undetermined amount of money. Fortunately, no one was injured in the attack, and the staff reacted calmly and promptly reported the incident to the police.
The lightning-fast response of law enforcement officers led to the rapid identification and arrest of three people who are believed to be involved in the robbery.
