On February 18, the police and the prosecutor's office gave a huge press conference regarding the cases of "Petrohan" and "Okolchitsa". The three men found dead in the hut near "Petrohan" committed suicide. In the case of the other three, whose bodies were found in a camper near Okolchitsa Peak, it is a case of murder and subsequent suicide, said the investigators. According to them, the main question remains what the motive for this crime is. Results from the weapons permit check of Ivaylo Kalushev, Ivaylo Ivanov and Nikolay Zlatkov are expected in a few days.
In addition to all the data clear so far regarding the investigation into the death of the six people, a map was also shown with the location of the cameras around the hut and on the road to it, which the police have. Some of them recorded only when they detected movement - of people, animals, vehicles. The police seized the recordings from six cameras. Videos were shown both from the day of the death of the three in the hut and from days before. The investigators emphasized that they showed hierarchical behavior in the group that lived in the hut - ritual greetings of Ivaylo Kalushev and the people with him are seen, bowing to the ground, kneeling and sending messages of gratitude and ritual. The recordings also show when the witness who reported the fire in the hut goes to the scene, and when the police arrive.
The investigating authorities sent to the media all the recordings from the six video cameras in question, located around the former "Petrohan" hut. They cover the period from January 31 to February 2, when a fire alarm was reported in the building, and the bodies of Ivaylo Ivanov, Plamen Stattev and Decho Vassilev were subsequently discovered, NOVA reports.
