The "Debora" case continues today in the Plovdiv District Court, in which the girl's former boyfriend Georgi Georgiev is the defendant, reports BNT. Three charges have been brought against him - for causing moderate bodily harm with particular cruelty and in a particularly painful manner, for coercion and for threatening to kill Deborah Mihaylova.
The trial has been ongoing for more than 2 years. Meanwhile, the defendant Georgi Georgiev condemned the Plovdiv District Court for delayed justice, after the criminal trial against him was returned to the starting position due to the recusal of the jury. The decision of the District Court in Stara Zagora is that the District Court in Plovdiv shall pay Georgi Georgiev 500 euros in compensation, plus interest.
