The mayor of the village of Voynyagovo in Karlovy Vary Todor Tankovski was arrested this evening, BNT learned.
According to unofficial information, he illegally dismantled the fireplace from the retirement club in the village, then sold it and spent the money. More information on the case will be released tomorrow.
6 years ago, Tankovski was arrested in a parking lot in Karlovo - because of a bribe of 150 BGN, which he demanded from a person investigated for illegal extraction of aggregates from the bed of the Stryama river in the land of the village of Voynyagovo.
Todor Tankovski is the mayor of Voinyagovo for the third consecutive term.
