The court left the Ukrainian detained at the "Maritsa Iztok 2" TPP in custody ; and accused of espionage, BNT reported.
The Sofia City Court has permanently detained the Ukrainian accused of espionage, the court's press center reported. From there, they add that at the request of the city prosecutor's office, the meeting was held behind closed doors.
The court accepted that there was evidence from which a reasonable suspicion could be made that the accused had committed the crime he was accused of. In addition, according to the court, there is a danger that the man will commit a crime and abscond.
The decision of the court is not final and is subject to appeal and protest before the higher instance. In case of such, the meeting is scheduled for July 2.
