A race with the police on the streets of Veliko Tarnovo ended with the arrest of a foreign citizen. The man was detained in the area of the tunnels in the old capital city, novini.bg reported, referring to bTV.
The action took place on the road Svilengrad - Ruse. The foreigner was arrested around 19:30 this evening at the request of another regional directorate, the Ministry of the Interior confirmed.
According to the television, he was followed by police teams. The man tried to escape from the law enforcement authorities.
Three patrol teams in Veliko Tarnovo got involved in the pursuit of the foreigner's car, which managed to stop it in the area of the tunnels at the entrance to Veliko Tarnovo.
The man was arrested. It is not reported if and what he committed.
