A German citizen, wanted with an Interpol red notice, has been detained in our country, the Ministry of the Interior announced.
A European arrest warrant has also been issued for him for participation in an organized criminal group related to particularly large-scale financial fraud.
The arrest was made yesterday by officers of the “Search“ at the Main Directorate of the National Police. The man was declared wanted on April 22 of this year by the authorities in Germany.
In this case, the competent prosecutor's office has been notified in order to take further steps on the European arrest warrant issued for him.
A few days ago, the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained a Ukrainian woman and a citizen of Belarus, who were wanted by the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine for participation in an organized criminal group, which, by abusing official rank during martial law, took away foreign property in particularly large quantities.
