Days after BETL exploded and thousands of Bulgarians lost their money, it turns out that the Ponzi scheme continues to exist, but under other names. People are reporting this on social networks and calling on everyone to report it so that no more people are stung, reports bTV.
The pages were not deleted or taken down, but renamed.
"Currently, another pyramid scheme, identical to BETL, is also running in Bulgaria. Its wallets are the same as BETL's, which means that fraudsters are acting with impunity“, says a woman who reported it.
„The same pyramid scheme is currently running in Turkey, its name is SIMO! People will get burned from there too“, the woman added.
Users are confirming their suspicions that it is the same scheme after discovering similarities in the way BETL and SIMO are promoted.
„Aggressive marketing. It is very typical for BETL and others like it that people are zombied into inviting friends. Promotions are made, misleading information is given. Very big profits are promised.“
By Friday, 34 reports had been filed in Bulgaria by people who lost their money in BETL. The defrauded people point to two Bulgarians who, according to them, are the highest in the scheme in our country - Kalin and Kalina. During group conversations with victims in closed groups, they claim that they were also deceived.
Are there already reports of victims of PowerPal – we asked the national police. They said that an investigation is underway and that when they collect all the information they will pass it on to the prosecutor's office. We also asked the NRA the same question. We sent our questions on Wednesday. We have not received a response to date.
