Two of the accused in the management of the illegal Home for the Elderly in Yagoda were released on bail of 3 thousand leva, the Bulgarian National Radio reports.

One of them is 36-year-old Dimitar Dimitrov. He is listed as a co-owner of the companies related to the hospice and the so-called rooms for rent. The court did not give reasons. In the courtroom, Dimitrov asked for a lighter measure, stating that he is expecting a child from the woman with whom he lives as a family and she is in advanced pregnancy. According to his defense, the accused did not participate in the activities of the Home, he is officially engaged in another business - a construction company.

The second accused, released on bail of 3 thousand leva, is 37-year-old Mariyan Zhelev.

Earlier, the District Court in Stara Zagora decided to permanently detain 62-year-old Valentin Zhelev, who is accused of being the main organizer of the scheme with the illegal homes for the elderly in Yagoda.

Today, the second instance is considering the measures for detention of the six detainees in the case, and the court is currently hearing the measures for the nurse and the two caregivers.
