Fashion designer Countess Jacqueline de Ribes, known as the “last queen of Paris“, has died at the age of 96, AFP reported.
According to the agency, she died on December 30, 2025 in Switzerland.
Jacqueline de Ribes was born in 1929 and has been appearing on lists of the best-dressed women in the world since the 1950s.
In 1962, she founded her own fashion house, which she ran until 1995.
She was friends with fashion designers Yves Saint Laurent and Valentino.
