In the UK, four men were arrested after half a tonne of cocaine worth £40m was found in a van on the parking lot of a village pub, BNR reported.

The National Crime Agency said it was likely the drugs were brought ashore in a rigid inflatable boat after being transferred to it from a larger vessel off the coast of Hull. Officers found the inflatable boat abandoned around 50km from the Stags Head Inn in Lely, East Yorkshire, where around 500kg of cocaine was found in the back of a van in the pub's car park.

The potential value of the shipment is £40m and the cocaine is believed to have been destined for sale in the UK. All four arrested are Scots. In February, a shipment of 5.7 tonnes of cocaine, worth £450 million, was found in the port of Southampton in a container carrying bananas, the biggest seizure of Class A drugs in the UK.
