Dave Hodges is often in trouble with the law in California. He is convinced that the controlled intake of microdoses of these substances can be used as a tool of spiritual growth. According to him, some psychedelics can be effective in combating certain addictions.
In some states, the use of these substances for medical and recreational purposes is permitted.
„I am the founder of the Church of Ambrosia. It happened unexpectedly and went far. I'm doing some pretty groundbreaking experiments with the dosage of hallucinogenic mushrooms where you feel like you're leaving your body. Once during such a seance I went to Heaven, Hell and everything in between and ended up in a place of pure light,'' says Dave Hodges.
He adds that it gives people who come to the church access to the sacraments that allow them to experience personal enlightenment. “The church organizes events where we discuss the work that I and other people are doing,”, he adds.
