In Germany, the Association of Bavarian Brewers chose a new Queen of Beer, the portal BR24 reported.
The title went to 22-year-old Linnea Klee from Ennsdorf, Bavaria. In the final, she defeated four rivals.
Klee not only drinks beer, but also brews it: her father advises her to become a brewer. In addition, the girl plays football. She is a midfielder in a local amateur team. She has yet to score a single goal this season.
The girl speaks German, English and French, and also Finnish: her mother is from Finland. Klee admitted that she dreamed of becoming the beer queen of Bavaria since she was 16 years old. For her, this drink is associated with freedom. Her favorite type of beer is wheat.
The Bavarian Brewers Association has chosen a beer queen for 15 years. The winner is determined by a jury and online voting. Any girl who knows about types of beer and the brewing process can win a title in a year.
