Prince Harry is apparently really settling into his new life in LA and feels "confident enough" to go out without Meghan Markle by his side, FOCUS reported.

Over the past few weeks, Harry has been making solo appearances, traveling to places like New York, London and Lesotho to support causes that are important to him.

It's a change from their usual joint appearances with Meghan and seems to be part of their new strategy.

According to the source, the Duke has fully adapted to life across the pond and is enjoying being in the limelight on his own.

"Since moving to America, it's taken Harry a while to feel comfortable doing things on his own, but now he's really enjoying this new lifestyle," the source told OK!.

"Harry used to use Meghan as his 'security blanket' because he felt a bit lost in his new role, which was a huge change from his old royal life," the source continued.

"He was always good at letting her take the limelight, as she really thrived at big public events, and he just followed suit."

The source also mentioned that while Harry felt a little overshadowed at times, he was fine with it as he adjusted to this whole new lifestyle.

Royal commentator Duncan Larcombe agreed, saying Prince Harry appeared to be acting more like his "old self" during his solo appearances compared to how he acts when he's with Meghan.
