A 58-year-old man whom we remember! Yes, it is about Milen Tsvetkov. He would have turned 58 today. He was born today, and on April 19, 2020, his life stopped in seconds after a 99 km/h impact. Milen Tsvetkov was killed in his car while waiting for a green light. Ridiculous, isn't it! Tsvetkov lost his life at the intersection of boulevard "Cherni vrah" and "Srebarna" street in the capital on Mount Easter after being swept away by Christian Nikolov's jeep.
After that, the Supreme Court of Cassation finally sentenced Christian Nikolov to 9 years in prison, after accepting that the crime was committed with possible intent due to the fact that Nikolov had used drugs (i.e. amphetamine, cocaine and marijuana) and was driving at high speed.
These are the facts that led to the end, but everything interesting for Milen Tsvetkov was before that.
As a student of defectology, he started the first hunger strike against Petar Mladenov after the remark about “the tanks are coming”, participated in the first free youth program on television, made the first internet television, and was among the pioneers in the morning blocks. He works in a cafe, in a butcher's shop - in different periods of his life, but he reaches Team-2 of Neri Terzieva and Asen Agov in BNT. First, he leads the midday news broadcast, and then the central broadcast on weekends together with Vyara Ankova. He left television and became a worker in the meat processing industry. He also briefly managed Kamen Vodenicharov's discotheque.
In 2002, he started hosting "Hello, Bulgaria!", and in 2005 he already hosted a show bearing his own name - "The Hour of Milen Tsvetkov". Then again in BNT, then again in Nova TV, and finally in TV1. This is how his life develops day by day - directly connected to television, until April 19, 2020 and those 99 km/h with which a jeep hits him to end everything ridiculously and in seconds.
