The internet is full of folklore. Memes are flying. Events are the talk of the town everywhere. The conversations are mostly like this: some are worried about ethnic peace. Others frankly indulge and have “taken popcorn”. Still others are waiting for something good to come out of it.
The situation will not lead us to an ethnic cataclysm, nor will it make up for the lack of a new season of Big Brother. It won't bring us anything good.
The situation is dramatic because of this. It shows exactly where our problem is as a society. We have a vivid, direct, clear, absolutely clear example - that in Bulgaria there is an unregulated power that should not exist at all.
Security structures operate when unregulated power and its “bosses” decide. And not by law. According to bandit mechanisms, not constitutional principles. So she can turn against anyone and on any occasion. And for no reason.
There is a certain irony that the architects of this unregulated power are sometimes executioners and sometimes victims.
But no matter how the MOL of the company is changed, the other thing remains worrying. Bulgarian society allows this.
We are passive observers. Who will win? And if he wins, something might change for Bulgaria. So let's “fix”. By itself. Without fighting. Without thinking about it. Without even wanting it. In vain. And good luck.
But such luck does not come for free.
We will have to work. First on yourself.
