Parents revolted after the staff of "Maleevi" tennis club of Yulia Berberyan left two children to wander alone in the industrial area of the city, writes crimesbg.com.

This endangered the health and lives of the children enrolled in summer tennis school, the victims said.

On June 13 this year two eight-year-old boys were left unsupervised by coaches and educators. Immersed in games, literally under the noses of those working there, they go outside the complex, located in the square between the busy Metropolitan Blvd. “N. Vaptsarov”, the former “Sofia Land”, “Tokuda” hospital (now “Ajibadem City Clinic”) and “Atanas Dukov” street. Meters from the club is the Hunting Park forest, as well as the former industrial area of the “Hladilnika” quarter. Apart from constructions and cars speeding by at breakneck speed, there are no other signs of life around.

Without any of the people in “Maleevi” to be felt, the two boys leave the courts and go in an unknown direction. Their absence went unnoticed by the coaches and security at the club, says the mother of one. Although hours pass, no one thinks to look for them.

It becomes clear that the children are gone only in the late afternoon, when the parents come to collect them.

A few hours later, the cubs were found passed out from fatigue and severely dehydrated in the heat, almost 3 km away. from the courts, on the outskirts of the “Krastova vada” quarter. They walked for nearly an hour in the “Hladilnika” industrial area, with the risk of being run over by a car or by the heavy construction equipment of the sites, their families are outraged.

The subordinates of Berberyan and the Maleevi sisters refuse to accept any responsibility for the incident with the two children and continue to claim that it is none of their business where their pets wander, parents say.

The families are determined to refer the Ministry of the Interior, the Metropolitan Municipality, the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Sports, threatening to seek responsibility from the owners and managers of the sports facility. Moreover, the children did not train individually, but were enrolled in an organized summer tennis school.

Crimesbg.com recalls that the Maleevs acquired the land on which the tennis club was built through a scandalous substitution during the time of Stefan Sofianski. Against several panels in the capital's suburbs, the Berberyan family acquired 20,830 sq.m. back in 1997. land in "Lozenets" quarter, "Pogrebite" town. The approximate amount with which “Maleevi” comes into the deal, is about $270,000. dollar. Just for comparison - a year later, Stefan Sofianski sold 26,000 square meters in the same area “Pogrebite” for about $1 million dollars - almost four times more expensive.

“However, this time it is not about substitutions or thefts, but about the life and health of the children entrusted to them, that is why we will get to the end. We want a severe punishment!”, the parents of the two boys are categorical, quoted by crimesbg.com
